Baker

Basic rundown: George Baker is the CIA director responsible for putting the word out about Victory and hiring Danika to track her down.

Jeremy

Basic rundown: Technogeek. Simply put, he's the best of the best. Inventor of a zillion little spy gadgets and willing to sell them to anyone for the right price. His moral compass extends far enough to make sure he's not dealing with anything too terrible, but he's always got his wallet and science on the brain.

Lefu

Basic rundown: Jan Kruger's right hand man. A brutal bastard that will kill you as quick as look at you and leave your carcass for whatever carrion bird is around. He's the man that made Vasha into the person that she is, the man that enforces Jan's law all over his territories, the man that is in charge of executing every plan that Kruger plots.

Reilly

Basic rundown: The yin to Parker's yang, Parker's Rival Con Artist. They are equals in their con artist mastery. Could be Parker's brother or not… who knows? He might be working as a consultant to the FBI to help bring Parker in. They used to be partners but now they aren't.

For folks (like me) who've led quiet lives on the easy side of the law, it's easy to get what real world violence is like completely wrong. Hollywood usually does. So I thought I'd throw out a link to the site of a guy whose studied it, lived it, and writes about it extensively for self protection, law enforcement, and fiction writers. I've met and had a beer with the author at a convention, and he's terribly entertaining, at least. His panel was fascinating, too. I use this site a ton when I'm writing.

http://www.nononsenseselfdefense.com/get_attacked.htm

-Danika
